I'm AJ — the only person who touches your hat, start to finish. No factory, no assembly line, just one person building each hat the way it's always been done. That's also why it takes real time: I build one at a time so every hat gets the attention it deserves.

How it works

2. I talk it through with you — A conversation to lock in felt quality, color, and any shaping or trim ideas you have — I'll work out the overall look with you using photos and references
3. 50% deposit — Secures your spot in my limited build queue and gets materials set aside
4. Sizing kit — I mail you a kit to capture your exact head shape — this is what makes the hat truly custom
5. Hand-built, about 6 months — I build every hat by hand in the shop, start to finish — including a final shaping pass and quality check before it ships.
6. Finished hat ships out or gets picked up at a show — Remaining balance is due at pickup or before shipping
